His thoughtful approach has earned more than 35 local and national design awards, including 25 accolades specifically celebrating his work in historic preservation and restoration. This reputation for excellence has generated a diverse residential portfolio spanning from the Midwest to the West Coast. Memorable projects include a contemporary family compound overlooking the Deschutes River rapids in Oregon, luxurious coastal homes in Naples, Florida, and sophisticated estates along the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Minnetonka.

Chuck’s commercial footprint is equally dynamic and sustainable. He has spearheaded complex projects including the Toyota Technological Institute at the University of Chicago, corporate campuses for Hill Mechanical Group and Porter Pipe, and high-end Lalique Crystal boutiques in Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, and Chicago. Seamlessly blending operational efficiency with green building techniques, Chuck designs spaces that are as environmentally responsible as they are structurally striking.

Before launching his private practice in 1995, Chuck honed his craft at prestigious firms like Perkins & Will and Pappageorge Haymes Ltd. Outside the studio, Chuck is a proud father of three boys and is happily married to his high school sweetheart. You can usually find him traveling, skiing, biking, playing volleyball, or sharing a good laugh with close friends.

Patrick’s interest in architecture extends beyond design. His education and experience in construction management have given him a practical approach to architectural problem solving and a deeper understanding of how buildings are designed and constructed. He has participated in numerous design competitions and continues to explore new ideas through computational design, modeling, and digital tools.

Outside of work, Patrick spends much of his free time coaching hockey, softball, and baseball at McFetridge and Hamlin Park. He also volunteers with Saint Andrew Parish, serving on the Facilities and Construction Committee, and is President of the Saint Andrew School Board.

Amanda’s architectural and interior design backgrounds have shaped an integrated approach to design, with a particular appreciation for the relationship between architecture, materials, and interiors. Her international studies in South America and Scandinavia provided opportunities to experience architecture within diverse cultural contexts and strengthened her appreciation for how regional traditions, lifestyles, and environments influence design.

With extensive experience in Revit, 3D modeling, and rendering, Amanda uses digital tools to help clients visualize the massing, materials, and details of their projects throughout the design process. Her technical expertise, efficiency, and attention to detail allow her to thoughtfully guide projects from initial concepts through construction while maintaining a strong focus on each client’s vision.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter, photography—especially of her dog, Walter—and adding to her LEGO collection.

As Senior Project Coordinator, Joel assists with the development and coordination of architectural drawings, including plans, sections, and construction documents. His strong technical skills, organization, and commitment to quality help keep projects moving efficiently from design through construction. His positive attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed make him a valuable asset to our team.

Outside of the office, Joel enjoys playing basketball and staying active.
